Abstract
The maggot of the Black Blow-fly (Phormia regina Meigen) has already been of value in the treatment of Osteomyelitis and infected wounds (Robinson 1933). Therefore information concerning the embryology of the nervous system should be of interest. In the course of this study more than five hundred embryos were embedded, sectioned, mounted on slides, stained by various techniques and studied under several magnifications.1Title | The Embryology of the Central Nervous System of Phormia Regina, Meigen (Diptera: Calliphoridae) |
